Hoppers learning quickly Patience and attention to detail are required to teach very young football players. Sincere praise reinforces those lessons. Gavin Wilkerson was praised for “a nice stick” after a key tackle helping his CBFO XFL Hoppers turn back a late Carter drive and win an early season game 6-0. | Top to Bottom | Ranking the best in Oklahoma -- and beyond "We're Number One!" Prepare yourself for this exact proclamation across T-Town. In fact, most of America will make the same lofty claim now that football season has arrived. For a few weeks, most of these bold declarations might have merit. However, in a few weeks, the cream will rise to the top an... By Dwayne Davis. | FanHouse: NFL TV analyst's inexcusable blunder It's too late now, but somebody needs to send Dan Hampton a copy of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Broadcasting." The chapter on apologizing might still come in handy. | Garcia continues long goodbye It's a faux grass field with lines and numbers on it, a locker-room with sweat in the pores of its wood and fibre. | Bolden's start at QB 100 years in the making UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- For the past 18 years, Wally Richardson has been the answer to a popular Penn State trivia question. Come game time Saturday, he no longer will hold the distinction of being the most recent true freshman to start a game at quarterback for the Nittany Lions. That honor will fall to Robert Bolden, who will carry the process an extra step. | Chad Pennington argues against 18-game NFL season With Greg Camarillo getting traded to Minnesota last week Chad Pennington has been knighted as the Miami Dolphins' representative for the NFL Player's Association. |

Football Betting Tips and other Information
1.
Explore XFL football rules that differ from
the NFL
XFL
rules vary from what you may be familiar with in the NFL. Scoring
in XFL games will be different with changes such as those that
involve the point after touchdown - there will be no PAT kicks,
instead teams will have to run or pass from the two-yard line
to score one point. What's more, since the clock will be running
during this play, any fumbled or intercepted attempt can be returned
by the defending team for a one point score of its own.

On
a pointspread wager, the team wagered must win by the pointspread.
On an over/under wager, the total points of the contest by both
teams, overtime included, must fall over or under the side selected.
Example
The posted line is the Birmingham Thunderbolts
-10 at Las Vegas Outlaws +10 and the over/under total is 45.
The odds are $1.10 to win $1.00 (-110) unless otherwise indicated.
For the player who wagers on the Bolts -10, they must win by more
than 10 points for this to be a winning wager. For the player who
wagers on Las Vegas +10, they must either win the game, or lose
by less than 10 points for this to be a winning wager. If the outcome
falls on the number, either way, the bet is declared a "Push", and
the original stake is refunded.
For the player who wagers on the total points of this contest by
both teams to be "Over" 45, the combined final score of both teams
must exceed 45. For the player who wagers on the total points of
this contest by both teams to be "Under" 45, the combined final
score of both teams must be less than 45. If the outcome falls on
the number, the bet is declared a "Push", and the original stake
is refunded. continued >
